Splash x wheaten

Is it true that i'll get blue if i cross a splash roo to a wheaten hen?
I've got a splash marans roo and two wheaton marans hens and was planning on keeping them appart, but if this is true, and they can be considered pure color (no leakage), i'll just keep them together.

There are no guarantees about leakage. I'd be surprised if there wasn't some in a lot of of the chicks.

In theory the black will dominate over the wheaten so you get a solid black chick. Then the B/B/S gene modifies that black to blue. Sometimes that even works. But often you get leakage and you never know how much. I don't now what your goals are but good luck finding a cross involving black and red that doesn't have some leakage.
