Can someone please tell me how to make a splash silkie or showgirl.

do you have blues? you could cross two blues together and some of the chicks would be splash...

I have black, blue, partridge, white and some that are white with red. I have silkies and showgirl chickens.

I also have a splash, but someone told me that you can not mix 2 splash together.

Yes you can cross Splash to Splash and you get all Splash and cross Splash to Blue and get 50% of each and cross Blue to Blue and get half Blue, a quarter Blacks and a quarter Splash.

Im new at this and dont remember why she said it. She was so nice to give me eggs and now they are 6 months old so I was deciding which ones to keep. I loved the splash and wanted to make sure I didnt give away what I needed to keep getting them.
