I've tried banding chick and quail legs and they ALWAYS fall over, cannot stand for more than a minute
Going to try a shot glass for this latest quail hatch, anybody have experience with it?
Thanks!

Try the shot glass and see if it helps.

Placing chicks on a surface that has some grip can often help too. I usually put them on puppy pads, but if I have one having trouble walking, I also put some shelf liner in the brooder for a couple of days.

Rubber bands or hair bands are awful. Vet wrap works fairly well for hobbling, it can be tricky to work with especially if you are trying to hobble a Quail chick, they are SO tiny. Cutting the wrap into very thin strips can help and if you have a helper that's even better.

Hope you find a solution.
