So I have taken on (2)2-3 week old chicks one is showing signs of Splay leg and curled toe on the same leg the other has signs of curled toe on both feet. Is it to late to try and correct these issues. The one chick(Basil as we call her) gets around quite well for only having one working leg. She is eating and drinking on her own. I have hobbled her legs in an attempt to correct the Splay leg and taped up her curled toes in an attempt to straighten them out. The other chick (Sage), we have have taped both her feet in an attempt to straighten out her toes. They were both getting around quite well even with the issues and thier sister Olive has not been bullying them. Looking for thoughts and recommendations.
