Splay leg help

So i hatched around 30 quail this morning and 3 have splay leg i put the bandage splint on them hoping it will help and they just lay there with the splint on they're on paper towels it doesnt seem to be helping them i dont know what to do

Make sure they are on a stable floor and the bandage keeps their legs as close together as a normal chick's.

I had a couple of chicks with splay leg. I used a band aid and cut it into very thin strips, only about 1mm wide. I wrapped that around their legs, the padded part of the band aid is a good guide to how wide the legs should be. It worked perfectly in all of them, and it was easy enough to get the band aids off in about 4-5 days.
