Splay Leg or B2 Deficient?

Hello all,

I just received an order of chicks yesterday and noticed one of the chicks wasn't walking right. She shuffles across the floor on her hocks and her legs were a little splayed, so my first thought was spraddle leg so I supported her legs so they couldn't go out to the sides and brought her inside with the most mild of the other chicks so she didn't get trampled, but she's still not walking on her feet and her feet curl, which led me to think that it may be a B2 deficiency. I wanted some more opinions. If that is the case, can I use a human B2 supplement (and how much) or is there something specific poultry/livestock.

Here are some photos of the chick.

I would definitely start her on some chick vitamins that contain riboflavin to treat for possible riboflavin B2 deficiency. You can use Poultry Cell tonic a few drops daily in her beak or feed, or you can add some powder chick vitamins to her water. Check your vitamins at your feed store, and look for riboflavin on the label. Do not use Poultry NutriDrench since it doesn’t have riboflavin.
