This little one jumped out of my hands while I was transferring her from the incubator to the brooder. She had splay leg so I gave her a brace.

She's running and playing now, but still splays a bit when on a smooth surface.

I kept her and two companion chicks inside when I transferred the others to the outdoor brooder. Any suggestions as to when I can put them out? Now? Or wait another day?

Best to start as soon as possible with correcting with braces youtube and other forms on here will give you some great technics. Best of luck

I rarely brace, they hate it. I have had chick that were bad enough to be called Quazzy. What I did with that chick was held him back to be with younger chicks and the leg got better.

The one below- Finn unfortunately didn't get better But he raised many batches of chicks.
