splayed leg 22 day old cornish cross

can you use the rubberband method(open to other methods too!) on a 22 day old cornish cross, or is it a lost cause by then? anyone know?

thank you, i'll give this a shot. i've been feeding him probiotic waters with vitamins, i let him have a little feed, but i'll remove and try just this water for a bit.
