My hen was sitting on 9 eggs and successfully hatched out 5. She got off the nest leaving the 4 eggs behind. I put them in the incubator (at 100 degrees and humidity of 70%…is that ok?) one hatched out and I think she has splayed leg. I put a bandaid on her legs to help correct them, but it’s 10 o’clock pm and I have to get to bed.

I cant put her in the incubator because the temperature would be too hot for the night but I dont have a heat lamp or one of those heat tray(my brain isn’t working tonight I’m tired!)

How can I keep her warm for the night? I need help!

99.3 is the ideal temperature for hatching if I remember correctly. Some turn it down a degree at hatch time. Still air incubators do better set more like 102. The chick will be fine at the same temperature you use to hatch
Oh thank you so so so much! You don’t know how much you have helped me!
