Hello! I’ve had to deal with splayed leg multiple times before, in several different types of birds. Usually I use a small rubber band that I knot in the middle and then I put the chick’s legs in each of the loops. This isn’t the only way to fix it, however. I’ve seen people use bandaids or medical tape around the legs to pull them back together, or putting the chick in a narrow box that it can’t turn around in. I’ve even heard of people tucking the chick securely into a newspaper (with its head sticking out) and then rolling it up with something to weigh it down on the end, so the chick can’t escape. IMO that seems a little difficult and stressful for the chick, so I’ve only used simpler methods, but if that’s something you feel comfortable with then go for it! Just be careful not to hurt the chick. Hope this helps!
