I am so sorry you lost that little one....at least you have more to love....they are all so very precious.

I just lost my first (and only) bantam baby that the momma hatched (only lived 4 days) on Wednesday....I cried all day and a little bit every day since - even my 'Iowa' raised hubby was so sad that we lost the baby chick.

I am grateful to everyone on this site - such great people, all loving their chickens (I never would have guessed!), and being so supportive. I was hoping your story would have turned out better than mine....
