What if anything can you do for this? I read on here that you can put a bandaid on their legs. Anyone have experience with this? How long to keep it on and can it work?

Was not on a slippery surface, so am not sure of the cause...??

It ABSOLUTELY works!!! Search from spraddle leg. There are several threads that show how to do it with pics.

I have fixed 2 chicks with this problem One 2 days ago and 1 about 5 weeks back by getting a small tin, ones that salmon or tuna come in and line it with tissues and keep putting the chick in it so it has to push up to get out. The one I just done was a bit more of a problem till I found little tin with higher sides. You would not know that there was a problem now.

I just had this happen a week ago, plus my lil thing was a peanut too... I used the first aid tape about 4" long, cut it in half length wise. then folded most of it except for the ends. wrapped it around the legs and stuck it together in the middle and pull the other leg closer and did the same for 3 days. it worked... you may have to do it again. my lil guy HATED it!!!

and i've been told I took my little guy out of the bator to soon...I thouht I was doing the right thing...
good luck
