Splayed legs

I have perused some of the comments and helpful information about how to treat splayed legs. We have two chicks that hatched within the last two days and both need to be treated. We have successfully taped their legs into position. However, when they start to walk the fall over and roll on their backs and struggle to get upright. Do I just let them figure it out?

I had a rooster "Quazzy" who had splayed legs. I kept him separate for a couple weeks, then got some younger chicks. They were smaller, and slower. It gave Quazzy a chance to catch up, and soon he was well and the leader of his group. He cured himself.
