Im Afraid you won't like my answer.

Can it eat and drink on its own at all?
I think the most humane thing would be to euthanize it so it doesn't have to suffer a death of dehydration and/or starvation.if you decide you want to go that way, let me know and I can recommend an effective method.

Crossbeaks can do OK, but not usually when they are this severe this early in life. The condition will continue to worsen until the bird reaches its full skeletal growth at 16-18 weeks (maybe longer because these guys tend to grow out slower due to the problem).

You need to decide how much time/effort/resources you have to invest in this chick. Once you make that decision, you can best decide how to move forward. This chick is going to need a lot of help for its lifetime. If you are prepared to do that then the posted threads will give you lots of good advice. If you are not, then euthanization would be kindest.

I am sorry. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
