When spring comes around, I am going to making a fenced in run for my chickens. Within my coop, I have two pens w/ a chicken wire partition between them. After I get my fenced in run finished, I will make an exit for each pen to access the outside run. My question is, will the chickens return to their original pen to lay eggs, eat/drink, and roost, or will they go into whichever pen they feel like?
