split them up or hood them?

This is our first time with chicks. We got 6 reds and two ducks. I know they aren't ready to be out of the brooder yet since they are only about a 1/3 feathered in, but they are so active they are getting out of it. At least one a day is getting out. I am not sure how to handle this.

Do you have a big moving box or go buy one get a piece of plastic to bottom or what I been doin in I have a large dog pen that is movable put it around the brooder and when they get the really don't or chicken wire the top of
