Our daughters faverorite bantam faverolle has a odd split toenail. It is his 5th toe, the one facing the rear. It has always been a little wider than his other toe abd has has a small spit in it. I meant to keep better track of it and trim it, it got long on one half and he must have snagged it yesterday on something. He was bleeding a bit last night, nothing major. So if we trim it so it looks nicer any chance eventually it will grow as just one nail? He is about 7 months old, don't know if it was always like this but it has been for awhile I know.
