i have a flock of 7 geese and want to get rid of three (two hens and the big 'top' guy) this will leave 2 girls and 2 guys (they are both 'couples' but stay in the flock
im just wondering what effect this may have on the flocks dynamics and what i should expect? will the two other guys fight for top spot? i remeber last time i got rid of one (a very sick hen had to be culled) the flock seemed to mourn her departure and were restless for days.......
