Spoiled Chicks

Last night the girls were ready to sleep in their coop for the first time so I’m feeling sentimental. Thought I’d post some fun pics from these last few weeks. Not posted in any particular order.

The opossum I've been feeding for the past year was not happy with the chicks. they have such a bad rep, they are such gentle critters who just want a late night snack of cat food or leftovers. Never once shown interest in my chickens. I’d never leave any of my animals alone with them of course!

My cat wasn’t pleased either.

My duck chose chaos in this one. no chicks were harmed!

They grow up way too fast. These past few weeks have been so much fun!

The rabbits aren’t mine btw, my neighbor got some! We tried to make a cute Easter picture but that was the best we could get kids, right?

Great photos! Chicks are so innocent and fun.

They are!! It’s sad losing adult chickens from old age but it’s wonderful getting chicks

Did you know your light-colored barred (striped) chicks are probably males?

Actually I have been worried, my parents bought these being told they were Easter eggers, I’d love some insight!!
