We got our first real snow of the season yesterday and the girls absolutely despise the stuff. Most had refused to come out of the coop for basically two days so they needed a little bit of encouragement
Freckles, however, had apparently decided to venture off on her own to their favorite spot under the deck but then got separated because she refused to walk back over the snow. Even though she made it over there just fine.

Anyway, I heard her calling to me from under there and did a little rescue mission
took a bit of encouragement at first but after thinking about it, she realized the hay wasn’t as cold and followed me back as I put down the path. At least until she decided about halfway across that I was too slow putting the hay down and flew the last few feet back

They are ridiculous.
Anyone else have spoiled, cold hating birds?
