I've been reading a lot through this forum and noticed a lot of people saying that chickens should be roosting and such....well my babies are almost a month old and I'm afraid I have spoiled them (even my fiance says I'm babying them). I gave them a baby blanket to sleep in so they'd have somewhere soft to rest in at night when I first got them, and now they won't sleep without it. They chirp and peep loudly long into the night unless they have their blanket. Is this a bad thing? How do I break them of it and get them to roost like their supposed to? They will be going outside soon and I want to make sure they are able to adjust without having to take their blanket outside.
