Sponges in LG bators to up the humidity? Bad or Good Idea?

I have an LG and had 4 sponges in all 4 corners and got the humidity up to 65.... all 4 of my eggs hatched!

I have used sponges, paper towels, rags etc. IMO the sponges hold humidity better. I toss them away after the hatch is done of course.

I use a cotton sock works awesome !
