Hello. Anyone have a newer model Sportsman 1502? My chicken egg trays don’t seem to fit in the metal racks. There is about a 1” gap and when the turn racks the egg trays slide and hit the other side of the rack. Anyone else have this issue? These egg trays were made for this incubator so I know they are the correct size and are completely square so I know they are placed inside correctly. Thanks!

The inside dimensions of the trays for the 1502 is 14"x24 1/2".

If your trays are square, they can't possibly fit exactly.

GQF sells egg racks. Some of their racks state that two racks will fit inside the tray. Others say that one of the racks will need to be trimmed to be able to fit in the tray.

You can keep the egg racks in position by placing a filler in the tray with the rack. The filler could be a piece of wood, folded up cardboard, etc.

Good luck.

Thank you! We are going to try a small piece of wood to prevent the sliding. Thanks for you info!
