I was reading on the GQF website that the new 1502s have a hatching tray at the bottom. They say that all you really need is this one incubator and that you just transfer your eggs to the bottom when its time to hatch.

My question - how does that work the last three days with the increase in humidity thats needed?

I've hatched in the bottom of my 1502 with no problems. I don't raise my humidity the last three days though, because I already incubate with high humidity due to my elevation. However, I also have a HB 1588 that I use as a hatcher because I like to watch and don't like having to open the 1502 all the time to check things out while they are hatching.
