I'm looking at a few Sportsman that are used for sale.
I am wondering if the price is right on them.
gqf #1202 wood door 375.
#1502 3 turning trays and a hatching tray glass door elect 450.
#1202 wood door 400.
#1266 3 drawers like new 400.
I don't have all the info, what should I ask the seller etc.
Any thing I should know what is best etc.
Thanks for all your help I'm getting the hatching fever bad, I need eggs I want eggs, I got to have more eggs.
I need more chickens LOL

I would have them plug it in before you go and look at them so you can see that it will maintain a temp. I would not pay more than 375.00 for one with a turner. The exception would be the one with the glass door and the hatching tray. I might pay 450 if it is really good shape.

We just paid over 700 for a new sportsman with trays(*they don't come with them at least the washable type), and the auto water bucket. So if you get if for half and it works good then you have gotten a good deal. Ours has the door which you can see through some but you can order the one for $65 to see all (*boy do I *want* that but don't need so did not get). I agree though make sure that it holds temps... and asks tons of questions!!! We bought one used that was supposed to work but never would hold true temps...
