I have a older sportsman's, I just replaced both thermostats and put in all new gaskets. I still can't get it to go over 92. When it is on will the heating elements inside it glow? I bought it on ebay for $300 not to bad a deal, well $250 worth of parts later.......could have got a new one.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Just to cover the basics, did you turn the knob to increase the temperature? The thermostats expand to kit the shut off part of the switch, when you turn the know to up the temperature, the wafer has to expand more to shut off the heating element.

ETA: I didn't notice mine glowing.

You should have a light on when it is heating, is it staying on, if not thermostat need adjusted up, if it stay on all the time, check heating coil ,for breaks. Would be odd for both thermostat to go out at the same time........
