Spots on egg yoke.

Help! My chicken layed an egg twice with these different spots on the yoke. Once last week and then today. Does anyone know what they are?

I get these rarely in my birds. This is a small rupture in a blood vessel during the formation of the egg. Perfectly safe to eat. Most likely not a concern unless you see it frequently from the same bird.

It looks like a piece that broke off the chalaza (the white string-y part). Still perfectly safe to eat.

The white is likely a piece of shell deposit. I'd it keeps happening, you might have a hen with a reproduction issue.
