Spots on Wattles and Combs (Black spots)What is it??

I just recently noticed my 7 month old pullets (this is their second week of laying) have developed weird black circles on their wattles and combs. Can anyone help me diagnose this and how can I treat it? I have 2 Buff Orpington and 1 Leghorn (she is the white one)

Black spots on combs and wattles are usually blood. That is from pecking or being scratched in some way.

The blood vessels are right at the surface off combs and wattles. That helps cool the bird just like a radiator. You can even massage the comb and get blood out.

My first thought was dried blood but then I saw the 3rd picture. I don't have experience with fowl pox but the 3rd picture made me think of fowl pox. Any body else notice the 3rd picture or am I seeing the wrong thing?

I now concur, I didn't look that closely and now looking at pic#3 looks like a problem.
