A Polish chick I got a couple days ago from a hatchery has what I'm guessing is Spraddle leg?? She walks around fine, but instead of standing long periods like the otherchickscan, just falls back onto her butt or onto one side and just stays for a while. Seems to be eating and drinking fine and not lethergic compared to the others. I wrapped her legs closer togetherwith a small strip of a sports bandage and it was helping yesterday, but now she is falling down again. Is there anything better I could be doing to help her other than replacingthe bandage/tape around the legs each day? Can they survive with this? Could it be something else? Thanks

Can you post a picture/video?If she’s a few days old it might be kind of late to fix it.I had a button quail with a leg problem and I put him in a flower pot to help strengthen and straighten his legs.As long as it’s not neurological (which is what ended up happening to my button quail) I think she could survive with it.The fact that she’s acting normal otherwise is a good sign.Keep an eye on her and good luck!
