My baby chick hatched yesterday. Ever since then all she has done is flop around the cage on her back. If I put her on her stomach she flings herself around until she is on her back again, and then just lays there. We had one other chick hatch a few hours ago and it is already running around the incubator. Could the chick be spraddle leg? Or could there be something else wrong with it? I helped it hatch because after 24 hours it wasnt making any progress. We already had 3 die in the shell after pipping and I didnt want to lose another one. Now I am thinking maybe I helped it too early. Please help! This is our first time hatching.
