Spray bottle to increase humidity? During lock down?

I did this, and the humidity jumped way up (80% yikes), but I still think if done carefully might be helpful...I'm new, so just looking for opinions from those more experienced.
 
I wasn't in lock down (2 days to go) just preparing for it...
 
I sometimes use a spray bottle for this purpose.

The trick is to set it to a fine mist then spray it lightly.

You'll get a big jump in humidity right at first that should gradually fall.

I only do this if the inside of the box is very dry. Otherwise it is not necessary.
 
I think I may do this when I first go into lock down. I am using a cooler/homemade incubator (no fan) and having a bit of difficulty with temp changes and keeping the humidity up. I'm kind of nervous about not being able to open the incubator for several days, especially because of my temp variations..
