Unfortanalty my chicks are currently living in our basement. We have a large basement. Tonnight I spray painted a few plastic drawers on the far side of the basement. The chicks seem unaffected but quieter than usual. There area dosent smell of the fumes, but Im wondering if the fumes could hurt them? I love my babies and try so hard not to do anything that would hurt them

It's certainly possible for the fumes to hurt them. It hurts us. The fumes aren't always identifiable by odor if it's not strong enough. Hopefully it didn't get near enough to them but I'd make sure the ventilation is really clear so any bad air can get out.

If the fumes affects us, it can also affect your chickens. Time to do some venting
