I am new at hatching keets! I've hatched chickens, but new to keets. This is my second hatch (the first hatch went fine), and I have one keet whose legs are really spread apart. Do I need to try to tie them together a little? He seems to have difficulty getting them under him. I have put paper towels in the bottom of their little housing to help, and it did help a little but they are still spread out too far.
Also, one of the keets that hatched this morning seems to have red tissue protruding out his rear. Could that be a prolapse of sorts?? Can anyone out there help me with these questions? Help!
