So I have at least one other weak chick

Looks like a bit of pasty butt, though the vent was clear. Must mean there's some stomach issue though.

I'll check them all in the morning. I really hope not to loose another

Peppers and mealworms?? Huh. Is there a list somewhere of what treats I could give my babies? Right now they're just getting their food and water.

Why thank you! I'll have to give some of these a try! We actually have popcorn unsalted and unbuttered for our dog so I gave them some. They don't quite get it yet...

I know what you mean I tried the yogurt and they wouldn't even try it they just looked at it and not touched I think I might throw some meal worms in it and see how that goes

I noticed today that one of my BAs one of her talons is broken or deformed I don't know which one cuz I can't remember if it's been like that from day one or not but it's crooked she seems to be walking n running normal but I read that chickens don't show pain tho n she's only a week old it worrys me cuz that is my girl she's the one that jumps in my hand n tends peck at anyone else that tries she's the one in my profile pic

I've been having the girls spend a few hours in the run each day to get used to being outdoors. I walked outside to see them all in my chair. They will be a month old on Monday.

My girls will be 5 weeks old on Monday, they have been in the coop with a heat plate from the time I picked them up at the post office, it warmed up this week, 50"s at night 75ish days so a few days ago I unplugged the heat plate and the next day took it out altogether, not a peep out of them about it! Tonight is going to drop into the 20's, I told my girls we will check for chicksickles in the morning.... The will be fine, I think... pretty sure anyway...
