Spring Chicken in Colorado

Hi all! I am new--so new in fact that I just got my first four baby chicks today!

My four year old daughter and I went out to a nearby farm and picked out:

1 silver laced wyandot
1 easter egger
1 welsummer
1 plymouth barred rock.

We are very excited for our new adventure and look forward to learning from this forum!

I started out with 2 hens & as my husband counted the other day...50 adults/chicks!
