So a frozen pond can really still smell? I can imagine it would after it thaws out, but never really thought about it still cold. Although, if it has poop in it then for sure. They stink up their water bins everyday!
We have the waterfall pond on the patio but the ducks dont use it in the Winter so I havent noticed it smell in places that they dont use.

They were too afraid to swim in the large pond! The only time they used it was when it was frozen! They found a small patch of broken ice and had a great time. Only one decided to swim in the pool today, and the rest just had a nice cold drink.
