Spring has sprung and it's Broodypalooza at our place.

First one of the Welsummers and a Barred Rock decided to set. We gave them some mixed bantam eggs.

Then the other Welsummer felt left out. So we gave her some Columbian Rock bantam eggs.

Then one of the geese started setting. There are already 14 goose eggs in the 'bator. Now she is sitting on 12.

Today B Squared, a game hen, decided she wants to set. Still debating what to stick under her.

Then two of the bantam decided to set. They are getting red golden pheasant eggs put under them.

At this rate we're going to be buying eggs to eat by next week.
