Spring is Blooming! (PIX)

Morning Glories are such a happy little plants, I usually plant some on the side of my house. But they have a few more warnings than what has been posted here. Keep them away from your chickens, pets and humans, unless you want some messed up critters.

this is pretty much the correct color, the other photos are making them look more lavendar than they are in person.

This give you the approx size of the flowers, they are sometimes bigger than this one.

It was about 5 feet tall at that point. I transplanted it, and it never did like the new spot too much. I have planted a bunch of seeds this year. They have yet to come up. The seeds are really weird, they are a big pod, with three to four HAIRY seeds in the pod. They remind me of Pussy Willows. I do hope the seeds I planted will come up. The old plant is starting to leaf out again, and has some buds on the top, the plant is now 4 years old. Those photos are from Spring of 2006.
