we have been having chickens for about 1 yr now just for eggs and to watch here on your small farm in ky, also have few rabbits and are new beekeepers, gardening is also big thing for us. we have small livestock auction that is run by mennonites not far from us, we recently bought a pair of beutiful game ckickens the rooster is very good at looking after the rest of the flock, which is 6 rodislandred 1 goldencomet 1oldsilkie and his mate. last few days the game hen has been acting broody and sitting in box most of the day on others eggs and hers. we haven't had any chicks on the farm, question is if we leave her alone will she incubate and hatch these eggs? do we need to put her in her own area/coop? need some help, sorry so long. thanks .
