Yes yes yes, I've got the spring fever and I am not talking about baseball. I want the cute little fuzzy butts too.

And I am not the only one. My bantam EE has just gone broody this week. It really surprised me because she had only been laying eggs for 1 month. I plan on getting just a few chicks from the feed store and slipping them under her to make us both happy. Any advice on grafting fuzzybutts to a broody? How long should I leave her broody before I attempt the graft? Even though she just started laying a month ago, she is now 8 months old. Is that old enough to be a mama?
