Craigslist has a free house to be torn down or moved.
Thought maybe someone could use the lumber for a coop!

No, I do not heat my coops in winter. Well, if I have babies I do .... after about 3 - 4 months of age I do not heat. The problem with winter, for me, is frozen water! I have to make heat plates to keep the water thawed. I have also heard you can hang a heat lamp over a waterer to keep it thawed and it does add some heat to the coop.
