I can't wait to see the crossed chicks as adults! Too Adorable!!! Please post pics when they are older :)

Quote: They are both different. I have a partiage silkie in with my whites, and RIR. One Cross has a REALLY big tail, no feet feathers, and a different wing patture. The other has feet feathers, a small tail, And a different patturn. I thing one must be a partiage cross, and the other must be a white cross. They are really intersting. :) You can see the one with the big tail in the back. :)

Last week my Butter started making noises that I swore was crowing. She would do it when I came in and turned on the lights. I move them from the closet and now are in a window and I can hear her doing it as I get ready in the morning. I am really hoping she is not a he. We can't have roos but I have decided if she is really a roo and I keeping her. I love her and she has beat death by dog twice.

Yeah same here! If I end up with any of mine being roo's I don't think I could part with them now. Luckily silkies tend to be more quiet. My dog LOVES my chickens, she is their great protector, and occasional nuisance

She tries to play with them... they don't appreciate it.
