Hi All,
I want to try and grow some sprouts for my girls (I have 10), especially for the very cold, winter months coming soon, and came across this great sprouter on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AJJOJD0/?tag=backy-20
It already comes with Alfalfa seeds for sprouting but also talks about Broccolli seeds for sprouting. Has anyone given Broccoli sprouts to their girls? What other nutrient-rich seeds do you use for sprouting so I can get some? Also, what should I absolutely steer clear of when it comes to sprouting seeds? I heard (barley and rye, for example) are not to be given to chickens. What about portion control? How much is too much?
