Personally I don't believe in using anything aromatic around birds, which have more sensitive respiratory systems than we do.

I’ve used it and liked it. Smells like a calming cup of tea, lol. I just sprinkled a little around the coop & nest boxes. The girls didn’t complain. I would probably buy it again if it wasn’t so pricey.

If you have the room grow an herb garden. I am the queen of cheap so I shop big box garden centers and buy off of the dead and dying rack, bring them back with some TLC and enjoy. Pinch shoots and larger sprigs daily, dry and store. (Or use in coop). I don't have my chicks yet but I am growing a crap ton of herbs for that and culinary use.

I think it helps the humans more than the chickens, lol. A clean, dry coop won't smell bad, even in the middle of summer.

I do give them herbs in their morning feed, and occasionally use VetRX if someone sneezes in front of me.
