My rooster is performing his duties quite well. There is one hen in particular that has blood on her leg daily. Not a lot of blood, but it is noticable. I believe that he is spurring her on accident while performing his "marital duties". He is a Gold Laced Polish and she is Cinnamon Queen. He does not do this to my GLP hens. Could it be because she is bigger then the other hens? Will her skin ever be tough enough that he won't do that to her? Is there something I can do to his spurs to prevent him from hurting her? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

most rooster will have a favorite hen or favorite color so he probobly likes her best... as for the spur if i were you i would cut them or remove them.

Does that hurt him? I've never known anyone that trims their spurs.

They say it doesn't hurt but I've never done it.
Here's a video on it:
