I'm grateful it snowed!

I am grateful that we have not lost power. No pipes froze. The chickens are (seemingly) fine. We don't have to go anywhere, so no worries about driving in white out conditions or on icy roads.

The warmer temps are in sight: mid 20s in a week!

I'm grateful we did not lose power, and that it was warm enough to take the dogs for a walk.

I'm grateful to be able to sit on my couch, and enjoy the view out the window. Yes, those are the birdies I feed year round. With snow on the ground,, there is not much for them to find to eat on the ground. The evergreen tree on right side,,, Yes it is my Christmas tree repurposed for the birdies to use as a perch. They zip in and out between the feeder, and the tree. Simple things that bring me JOY.
