I'm the same! Not sure if it's work overload or old age. Probably both!

Hilda's the easy one to recognise and Martha is the only grey one.

Nancy has white flecks on her back and Nell doesn't.

Hilda is a cross between Marans and Cream Legbar. They call it Marbar.

That was what Fret was. I thought she was a lovely looking hen so Hilda should be as well. Be interesting to see how the head tuft comes out with Hilda.

I didn't know! Was Fret black when she was a chick?

ETA I've just found this old post yours. And I'll go search for a Fret photo.

Do I recall correctly she looked much like a Legbar as an adult?

ETA yes, I see she was very like a Legbar, except for her feathered feet.
