Incredibly, all four were asleep on my lap. I couldn't get a photo because I was chatting to my aunty up in Queensland. It was a beautiful 15 minutes.

I'm the same! Not sure if it's work overload or old age. Probably both!

Hilda's the easy one to recognise and Martha is the only grey one.

Nancy has white flecks on her back and Nell doesn't.

Hilda is a cross between Marans and Cream Legbar. They call it Marbar.

That was what Fret was. I thought she was a lovely looking hen so Hilda should be as well. Be interesting to see how the head tuft comes out with Hilda.
