I was spying on my ducks whilst they paddled happily in our swamp yesterday. There are several wild drakes in there with them, and a few of my hens were following these guys around like they "belonged" together instead of sticking to my Mallard drake. But the hens all come home for bed at night... so, am I going to have weird crosses in my bator?

Maybe your hens thought the wild guys were a bit more interesting..

Do your hens fly. I would be scared that they would run away with the new guys..

Let us all know what you hatch out..

No my hens dont fly, at least the ones who were comizerating with the wild guys dont. The Call trio ignores the wild ducks and keeps to themselves. I might clip their wings just in case. But the heavy breeds are the ones intermingling...
