Really slow

Sorry, all the threads are running slow. If I have any eggs you are interested in, PM me. The buckeyes are moulting, so none from them. Deb ETA, I do have a pair of Buff Sebrights from show lines that are laying, so i could offer 5 eggs from them and a couple silkie eggs if you like small birds.

This summer we swapped eggs with several on BYC. We had two chicks hatched out that were colored Buff and Black. It looks like either a project bird or a cross. We were hatching a lot of chicks in both Orpington Bantams and large fowl and had various ages together in a grow out pen. At first we thought these were large fowl Orpingtons, since we had a black hen jump a fence. But this week this cockerel starting crowing. He is defintely an Orpington Bantam. Did anyone we received eggs from have this as a project? We know these were not our eggs as we did not have any Black Orpington Bantams at that time. We sold the pullet, but may be able to get her back. That is if they are a project bird we want to work with.

What does everyone think about this Project Orpington Bantam cockerel?

This spring I defently want to get some of those blue wheaten OE from you. Have you had any luck showing them ? I am looking for an OE breed to add to show. I was just wondering if you had any luck with them. All you birds look so amazing. I think I may end up with a little of everything

There are not very many Blue Wheatens around. She has done well with them. Always BV. She has won BB. With limited showing. This fall they were molting (Bad) so we didn't sign them up for crossroads, wouldn't you know it , they lookd great for it, Kicked my butt for not sighning them up. !!

I sure wish I knew the fertility of my SQ stock. (Yes, they are SQ. I purchased them out of the show cages and they did place well. I have both bantam and LF in this Mystery breed.) I will be hatching A LOT from them before I swap/sell any though.

Ok, I'm rambling now. Sorry
